Wedding photography across Bangalore and Karnataka

We photograph weddings throughout Bangalore and the wider Karnataka region, from banquet halls and hotel ballrooms in the city to temple ceremonies and family homes further out. Bangalore weddings rarely run to a single template — a muhurtham at dawn, a reception that starts late, two families with different customs in the same weekend — so we plan around your actual running order rather than a fixed shot list. If your venue is somewhere we have not shot before, we visit or study it in advance to work out where the light falls and where we can stand without being in the way.

Every ceremony, shot on its own terms

Hindu, Christian, Muslim and intercultural ceremonies all carry moments that only happen once and never repeat for the camera. The tying of the thali, the exchange of rings, the moment a mother's face changes as her daughter leaves — these are the frames couples come back for years later, and they are gone in a second if the photographer is looking the wrong way. We ask you to walk us through your rituals beforehand precisely so nobody is guessing on the day. During the ceremony itself we work long lenses from a distance, staying out of the sightlines of the people who actually came to watch.

What a wedding day with us looks like

We arrive before you need us and start with the quiet parts — the room before the guests, the jewellery laid out, your father practising what he plans to say. Through the ceremony we work unobtrusively and without direction. Family portraits are handled in one organised block rather than pulling people away repeatedly across the evening, which is why we ask for your list of groupings in advance. By the reception we are back to candid coverage: the dancing, the speeches, the cousins who have not seen each other in years. Nothing is staged and nothing is repeated for a better angle.

Destination and outstation weddings

Plenty of Bangalore couples marry somewhere else entirely — a family town a few hours away, a resort in Coorg or Chikmagalur, a beach in Goa. We travel for these, and we would rather talk through the logistics early than late: travel and accommodation are agreed in writing before the booking is confirmed, with no markup added. Tell us where the day is happening and roughly how many events it spans, and we will tell you honestly what it takes to cover properly.
